Springtime Themed Fun Finger Puppets!

Here's a fun simple craft to make with your kiddos that's a play on the traditional style finger puppet!
Items needed:
Pipecleaners
Pom Poms
Foam board
Googly Eyes
Scissors
Hot glue
Feathers (if making chicks/birds)
Here's instructions for making the 3 characters we made, but feel free to get creative and make whatever you like!

Bunny-corn
White pompom
White pipecleaners
Pink/purple/green/white/yellow foam board
Googly eyes
White marker
Using the yellow foam board, cut a small trianlge. Draw white stripes on the yellow horn if desired.
Cut out "leaf" shapes with the green foam board and flower shapes with the pink, purple, and gold. Cut a small circular nose from the pink foam board as well.
Cut out ears and ear inserts of the white and pink foam board as shown.
Using the hot glue gun, adhere the ears together and glue to the top alongside the horn. Allow to dry.
Glue the eyes on, followed by the floral and leaf arrangement above. Twist the pipcleaner around your finger and hold in place. Glue to the underneath of the pompom character and hold in place until dry.
Yellow Chick

Small yellow craft feather
Googly eyes
Yellow, green, and orange foam board
Using the green foam board, trace out a pair of glasses and cut them to size.
Glue down on the yellow pom pom, allow to fully dry. Glue the googly eyes down next.
Cut triangle like ears from the yellow foam board and a small orange oval for the nose.
Glue onto the face as well. Top off with a feather at the top. Twist the pipcleaner around your finger and hold in place. Glue to the underneath of the pompom character and hold in place until dry.
Bumble Bee
Yellow pompom
2 Black pipecleaners
Googly eyes
Blue foam board
Black foam board
Gold glitter foam board (if desired)
Using the black foam board, cut out 2 "Stripes" in a slight "U" shape for the bee body. Glue onto the pompom. Cut two small antennas for the bee as shown and curve.Cut out an oval nose from the gold foam board. Glue down the antennas to the top and eyes and nose onto the front. Allow to dry. Cut out two "B" shaped wings from the blue foam board, and glue on each side of the body of the bee. Twist the pipcleaner around your finger and hold in place. Glue to the underneath of the pompom character and hold in place until dry.
