Easy Cheesy Sausage and Pepper Frittata


  • 6 eggs, whisked just until the egg yolks and whites are blended

  • 3 tablespoons sour cream

  • 1 medium bell pepper, sliced thin

  • 1-2 green onions diced

  • 1 average size andouille sausage link (smoked so it's already cooked)

  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

  • Cooking spray


Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Spray a glass 8" pie pan generously.

Mix the sour cream and heavy whipping cream into the whisked eggs and set aside.

Put all of the onions, peppers, sausage, seasonings, and 1/4 cup of the shredded cheese into the pie pan. Top with the egg mixture and remaining 1/4 cup of cheese.

Bake for 25 minutes, or until center is set.

Best served hot

Serves approximately 6-8 guests
