10 fresh okra, rinsed, dried and split down the middle 1 tablespoon bacon grease 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice 1/2 tablespoon pink Himalayan salt
Heat a cast iron pan on your stove top and add in the bacon grease. Place okras sunny side up and cook on high for 2 mins. Flip over and cook an additional 2 mins. Remove from heat and toss the lemon juice into the pan. Dump immediately into a bowl and season with an additional sprinkling of salt and enjoy with dip of your choice!
