This recipe can be adjusted to have savory or sweet mix ins, or just stay a “standard” bread. You will see it utilized in several recipes across our site.
1-1/2 cups almond flour
1/4 cup coconut flour
3 eggs whisked
1/4 cup flaxseed meal
1/4 cup mayonaisse
2 tablespoons water
2 tablespoons baking powder
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon of instant active yeast
1 teaspoon honey (to be dissolved by the yeast)
Preheat over to 350 degrees
Grease a bread pan very well.
In a small glass dish, combine the instant yeast with 2 tablespoons of water and honey. Set aside and allow it to "proof" for approximately 20 minutes.
Combine all dry ingredients, then add wet and also the yeast (once it's ready) and mix thoroughly
Spoon into bread pan. Allow to sit at room temperature for 45 minutes.
Bake in over for 40 minutes, or until inserted toothpick comes out clean. Allow to cool completely before removing from pan.
